Vintage
Through a subtle (and sometimes anachronistic) combination of shadows, textures and vintage illustrations, we aim to convey a sense of eras strange and forgotten. This section contains invitations that aren’t necessarily steampunk or retro. Instead, these invitations take design cues from druggist’s labels, salute one of the first modern bicycles, and evoke a Lost Generation sense of adventure. Enter our strange library, examine the color plates and take a trip down the rabbit hole.
Steampunk
Steampunks choose vacuum tubes over amulets and schematics instead of spellbooks. We are drunk on the possibilities of the electric current, the brass gear and the pneumatic pump. We are the gentlemen scientists, the plucky tinkerers and the intrepid airship commanders, and our weddings celebrate the future by toasting the past! The invitations in this section capture the fascination with a history of science that could have been.
Retro
Not too long ago, the world was a very different place. The invitations featured in this section pay tribute to decades that saw Kennedy in the White House, Bowie and Jagger at 54, or Lefty Frizzell at the Opry.
