Hello Felina ~

Wow -- thanks for commenting on such an ancient post -- very cool!

As for your reaction: certainly, Voltaire didn't write the book with Royal Steamline in mind. We simply wanted to defend the position of the gothic wedding invitation designer -- we're here to help! And we certainly weren't conducting a comprehensive book review.

And just to show you that there was no harm done, we ended up doing Voltaire's wedding invitations! He and his lovely bride, Jayme, were absolute dears and great to work with.

You just seem upset that Voltaire's book is not bringing you any business... I am sure there was far more to review in the book than wedding invitations...

O glory! Thanks so much for the feature! I, too, am a lover of fabulous photography, and was lucky enough to collaborate with some INCREDIBLE photographers for these shots. The gorgeous Darien Revel of Aesthetic Alchemy did the Absinthe shoot and the brilliant Lexie of Lex Machina did the Sirene shoot. Visit either of these artists' websites to see ever so many more jaw-dropping images...

The Zephyr Sleeve Garters shot is actually a gussied-up candid of my dashing husband, taken in front of his kinetic contraption, the Hennepin Crawler, at the Maker Faire.

Thanks for the love! xoxox Choklit
